In the summer of 2008 two Kelowna, BC women discovered they shared a passion for marginalized women. For years both had been feeling heartbroken over stories of sexual violence against women, slavery, women affected by HIV/AIDS, women living in poverty because of lack of education and skills, women confined by severe cultural taboos. They decided it was time to stop weeping and time to start doing something to help. Out of their talking, dreaming, researching and praying, Fullstop was born in late 2008.
